For some reason, my daughter has always preferred wearing ear warmers rather than stocking caps when it gets cold outside. It’s not always easy finding the right size for her in stores or styles she likes, so I was happy to come across this adorable crocheted head warmer pattern. I’m definitely going to give it a try. It’s a super simple pattern using just the double crochet stitch, starting narrow and increasing until you reach your desired width, then decreasing again. The coolest part is that it’s adjustable – just slip the button into a stitch as tight or loose as you need. Pretty awesome!

A button that will fit into a double crochet stitch (size will depend on how tight your stitches are. I tend to crochet pretty tight, so I’d probably need a smaller button 🙂 )
